Hi Mary- Shea Alderete with Alderete pools! I just wanted to chat with a you little bit. I have now join teams with my father and will be working full time with the company.! I just graduated from Vanguard University last May with a degree in Business Marketing. At this time I will be helping my Dad with all the marketing, advertising, & sales. I actually wanted to discuss with you about running some editorial about our company. I am not sure where to start & who to talk to about our advertising campaign, strategies & plans for the up coming year.

- Alderete pools is going green! We are now using state of the art pumps which are totally energy efficient and are universal because they run at variable speeds. All are new pools are O-zone friendly with saltwater sanitations systems where there is no chlorine or toxic chemicals being used. I feel that since we are one of the only pools builders out there that are trying to go green, we would like to take advantage of this immediately. This should be a huge advantage over our competitors not mentioning the
competitive edge we will achieve as well.

In the last six months we have been experimenting with fire around & on water! We are now seeing a new trend in our market place where everyone is leaning towards fire pots, fire walls, fire pits and anything that combines fire with water. In Southern California their backyards are becoming an extension of their house. Most of their daily living is done outside more so than inside due to our great climate we have which then creates a demand for such outdoor amenities as Plasma TV’s, fire places, outdoor lounging areas and so forth. So I thought we might talk about how the industry is evolving into water features, fire, & going green.

Another advantage that we may be able to use in our marketing program is that we have now become a third generation pool contractor in orange county. I do believe that I have the love & desire to carry on this family business.

We are truly going GREEN. We believe build Green today for a better Tomorrow.

Glad you like our new picture. That pool is a zero edge pool and is one of the newest designs out. We are getting a lot of great feed back on the mirror image the pool portrays. Another special amenity the pool has is it’s completely tiled all around to give you that mirror zero edge look. This tile is a special glass blown tile that costs around 80 to 100 thousand dollars.

This pool is only one of the many amenities that we offer. You asked what are some of the new things that are hot? Alderete pool specializes in customer satisfaction and can pretty much design anything imaginable. Some of our newest attractions include Fire on water. There seems to be a great demand for fire right now. We are one of the few companies around specializing in the design of fire on and around water. We believe that fire on water is going to be huge demand in our industry and we are one of the few companies that specialize in those types designs and construction.

In a day where electronics run everything you now have the availability to turn you pool equipment on and off by the touch of your cell phone. A lot of our amenities we offer are state of the art electronics. Simply everything we offer in the back yard can be controlled by electronics. With the right price you can have the power at your fingertips. All fire pots, tiki torches, heaters, and outdoors electronics can now be ran by a portable handheld device.

With our specialize designs and experience for our clients, we now have the ability to take your back yard and turn it into the best room of your house. For example, on some jobs we measure the client’s height to make him or her a custom designed stand up area in the spa. This stand up area is located in the spa and has 8 to 10 jets that give you a full body message. This type of design is very unique and delivers an amazingly comfortable hydrotherapy message.
